Music in the Vineyards 2011

Celebrating it’s 29th year, the Nissley Vineyard Music in the Vineyards begins July 2, 2011. A series of open air lawn concerts are held every Saturday evening, 7:30 p.m.-10 p.m. on the grounds of the Nissley Vineyard 140 Vintage Drive Bainbridge, PA in western Lancaster County. The series lasts through Labor Day weekend, featuring a different live band each week. Tickets are $15 per person, and can be purchased at the door or from participating Innkeepers. Guests with tickets purchased from Innkeepers will not be turned away if the venue is crowded. Season passes, to attend all ten concerts, are also available for $75. From Classic rock to Big Band swing to Motown and Rhythm and Blues, you are bound to find a weekend to enjoy music under the stars. Food concessions are available at the Vineyard or better yet pack a picnic dinner. No outside alcohol may be brought on the property, but wines are available for sale from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. With many dry and sweet varieties to choose from, Nissley wines run between $7.25-$15.75 per bottle.
