Have you ever wandered through Lancaster County and longed to have one of those spectacular “Amish Made Quilts” in various shops. They are really quite beautiful! Now, did you know that you can make one of those “spectacular” quilts and have a lot of fun doing.
You can stay at a bed and breakfast in Lancaster County, receive quilt making lessons, and at the same time put together a quilt top. It definitely is a “woman’s” getaway where laughter rings out, snacks are in abundance, and time for shopping is allotted during your weekend away at the many quilt material shops. If you think you then have to “quilt” your quilt top, well you just find a lovely lady who does quilting. All this can be accomplished for a fraction of the cost of purchasing one. Not only that, you will leave your weekend with a whole group of new friends.
